This winter's climate averages (ie. Donald Trump can suck it)

Over at Permaculture Reflections, there is a great post about the climate changes that were seen this winter. Using charts pulled from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, this winter's climate variations across the globe are clearly shown.

You may remember that this past February, Donald Trump was quoted as saying: "With the coldest winter ever recorded, with snow setting record levels up and down the coast, the Nobel committee should take the Nobel Prize back from Al Gore. Gore wants us to clean up our factories and plants in order to protect us from global warming, when China and other countries couldn’t care less. It would make us totally noncompetitive in the manufacturing world, and China, Japan and India are laughing at America’s stupidity."

Hmmm, or are they laughing at your stupidity in thinking that a cold winter in NY is the same as a cold winter in the rest of the world? What does this climate data for February say to you?

And while I'm throwing around pictures, here's a great pic of the Trumpster himself that I found on climateprogress.org, where you can read more about his comments on global warming.

His hair is just ridiculous.

  1. Glad you liked the post at Permaculture Reflections and I'm happy you ran with it. I could have thrown in the exceptionally batty Glenn Beck and Alex Jones as well, but one cartoon character per post is enough.
